In this edition of Artist Spotlight, we’ll be looking at the art of Lee Bermejo. Lee Bermejo is an American comic book artist who is most known for his highly detailed illustrations. He started working as an intern at Wildstorm and progressed as a self taught illustrator. In 2008, DC comics released the superb graphic novel entitled “Joker”, a co-creation between Bermejo and writer Brian Azzarello. One of the most incredible modern illustrators is the Bosnian Adi Granov. He first came into the spotlight in 2004 when he worked on the Iron Man miniseries Extremis. Since then, he has created the comic book covers for a whole list of Marvel’s comic books. In 2006 he was hired to help create the Iron Man armor for the first film which turned into such a huge succes that he was called back for more conceptual art for the second Iron Man film to be released in 2010.
